The Eyeless swordplay

There was once lived a very talented swordman in mainland China. One day, he travelled to a mountain, there he saw a tremendously steep cliff and below it a very strong river flows. On the other hand, in front of his eyes is a wooden old bridge that can be only passed by one person one time laid ahead. Seemed like the old bridge is the only way to get across, so he stepped forward. Though when his left foot stepped on it, looking down at the very steep cliff and the river underneath the bridge, he started to feel dizzy, his heart was beating fast, and even his whole body trembled. He could no longer move his right foot ahead. A slight carelessness can send me to a terrible death, he thought.
He stepped back, no longer has the courage to move ahead. Not a while later, he saw a blind man walking slowly with his walking stick crossing the river, without any fear, and the blind man managed to get across.
Seeing that, the swordman realized: "For i see, i am overwhelmed with fear. If i close my eyes, i shall be able to get across as well". So he really walked across the river blindfoldedly. On the time he reached the other side, he understood the essence of sword mastery.
He trained hard based on the insight he had, and had became an invincible swordmaster of the land, he called his swordplay: "Eyeless sword".

DO NOT LET THEIR ATTITUDE HURT YOU...!!

On His First Day In office, as President of United States of America, Abraham Lincoln entered To Give His Inaugural Address, One Man Stood Up, He Was A Rich Aristocrat. He Said;
"Mr. Lincoln, You Should Not Forget That Your Father Used to make Shoes for My Family"....
And the Whole Senate Laughed. They Thought They Had Made a Fool of Lincoln... But Certain People Are Made Of A Totally Different Kettle. Lincoln Looked At the Man Directly In the Eyes and Said
"Sir, I Know That My father used To Make Shoes for Your Family, And There Will Be Many Others Here, Because He made Shoes the Way Nobody Else Can. He Was A Creator. His Shoes Were Not Just Shoes He Poured His Whole Soul Into Them. I Want To Ask You, Have You Any Complaint?? Because I Know How To Make Shoes Myself. If You Have Any Complaint I Can Make You Another Pair Of Shoes. But As Far As I Know, Nobody Has Ever Complained About My Father's Shoes. He Was A Genius, A Great Creator And I Am Proud Of My Father".The Whole Senate Was Struck Dumb They Could Not Understand What Kind Of Man Abraham Lincoln Was. He Was Proud Because His Father Did His Job So Well That Not Even a Single Complaint Had EverBeen Heard
"Remember, No One Can Hurt Us without our Consent"
"It is not what happens to us That Hurts Us, It Is Our Response That Hurts Us" "There are people out there whose only work is to hurt others. Don't give them a reason to have so much work on their hands..Sometimes Stand Tall, Be Proud Of Your Humble Beginnings, For a Bright Light Awaits You At The End Of The Tunnel..

THE BOILING FROG SYNDROME..!!!

Put a frog in a vessel of water and start heating the water… As the temperature of the water rises, the frog is able to adjust its body temperature accordingly… The frog keeps on adjusting with increase in temperature…
Just when the water is about to reach boiling point, the frog is not able to adjust anymore…
At that point the frog decides to jump out…
The frog tries to jump but is unable to do so, because it lost all its strength in adjusting with the water temperature…
Very soon the frog dies. What killed the frog?
Many of us would say the boiling water…
But the truth is what killed the frog was its own inability to decide when it had to jump out…
We all need to adjust with people and situations, but we need to be sure when we need to adjust and when we need to confront / face..
There are times when we need to face the situation and take the appropriate action…
If we allow people to exploit us physically, mentally, emotionally or financially, they will continue to do so… We have to decide when to jump…
Let us jump while we still have the strength !!
Think on It !!

A Open Letter

Once up on a time there was a woman in her mid sixties who noticed that she had lived her entire life inthe same small town.
And although she had spent decades enthusiastically dreaming about traveling and seeing the world, she had never taken a single step to make this dream a reality.
Finally, she woke up onthe morning of her 65th birthday and decided that now was the time!  She sold all of her possessions except for some essential items she needed, packed these items into a backpack, and began her journey out into the world.  The first several days on the road were amazing and filled withawe – with every step forward she felt like she was finally living the life she had dreamed. But a few short weeks later, the days on the road started taking a toll on her.  She felt misplaced and she missed the familiar comforts of her old life.  As her feet and legs grew more and more sore with each new step, her mood also took a turn for the worse.Eventually she stopped walking, took off her backpack, slammed it on the ground, and sat down beside it as tears began streaming down her cheeks.  She stared hopelessly down a long winding road that once led to an amazing world, but now seemed to lead only to discomfort and unhappiness.
“I have nothing!  I have nothing left in my life!” she shouted out loud at the top of her lungs.Coincidentally, a renowned guru and life adviser from a nearby village was resting quietly behind a pine tree adjacent to where the woman was sitting. When the woman began shouting, the guru heard every wordand he felt it was his duty to help her.  Without thinking twice he jumped out from behind the pine tree, grabbed her backpack, and ran into the forest that lined both sides ofthe road.  Stunned and in complete disbelief, the woman started crying even harder than before, to the point of near breathlessness.“That backpack was all Ihad,” she cried.”
And now it’s gone!  Now everything is gone in my life!”After about ten minutes of much-needed tears, the woman gradually collected her emotions, stood up again and began staggering slowly down the road.  Meanwhile the guru cut through the forest and secretly placed the backpack in the middle of the road just a short distance ahead of the woman. When the woman’s teary eyes fell upon the backpack, she almost couldn’t believe what she was seeing – everything she thought she had just lost was once again right in front of her.  She couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear.  “Oh, thank heavens!” the woman exclaimed.  “I am so grateful!  Now I definitely have what I need to continue onward…

”REMEMBER : As we journey through our personal and professional lives, there will inevitably beperiods of incredible frustration and despair.  During those tough times,it will sometimes appear to us that we’ve lost everything, and that nothing and nobody could possibly motivate us to move onward in the directionof our dreams.
But just like the woman who stumbled across the guru, we are all holding with us a backpack of support that comes in many forms – it can be a simple email or text message from someone we respect, insightful books, helpful neighbors, and so much more."

Taking Care Of Yourself

A cobbler lived in a large village and he was the only cobbler in town, so he was responsible for repairing the boots of everybody else. However, he didn’t have time to repair his own boots. This wasn’t a problem at first, but over time, his boots began to deteriorate and fall apart.
While he worked feverishly on the boots of everyone else, his feet got blisters and he started to limp. His customers started to worry about him, but he reassured them that everything was OK.
However, after a few years, the cobbler’s feet were so injured that he could no longer work and no-one’s boots got repaired. As a consequence, soon the entire town started to limp in pain, all because the cobbler never took the time to repair his own boots.
This simple principle is so often disregarded. If you don’t look after yourself, after a while you’ll be no good to anyone else either. Your best intentions will mean nothing and you’ll be unable to do what you’re meant to do.
This goes for Professionals, Employees, Leaders, Social Workers, Teachers and even Parents.
"If you don’t take the time to care for yourself, no-one else will.
Are you taking care of yourself?
Have a good time ahead and kindly take care of your health FIRST, only then you will be able to help others. !!!"

FOR WE WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT !!!..

Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it. From a distance, each horse looks like any other horse. But if you stop your car, or are walking by,you will notice something quite amazing...Looking into the eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind. His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made a good home for him. This alone is amazing. If you stand nearby and listen, you will hear the sound of a bell. Looking around for the source of the sound, you will see that it comes from the smaller horse in the field.Attached to the horse's halter is a small bell. It lets the blind friend know where theother horse is, so he can follow. As you stand and watch these two friends, you'll see that the horse with the bell is always checking on the blind horse, and that the blind horse will listen for the bell and then slowly walk to where the other horse is, trusting that he will not be led astray. When the horse with the bell returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, it stops occasionally and looks back, making sure that the blind friend isn't too far behind to hear the bell.
Like the owners of these two horses, God does not throw us away just because we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges! He watches over us and even brings others in to our lives to help us when we are in need...
Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by the little ringing bell of those who God places in our lives. Other times we are the guide horse, helping others to find their way...

Are You Discouraged? The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming.Exhausted, he eventually managed to builda little hut out of driftwood to protect himself from the elements, and to store his few possessions. But then one day, after scavenging for food, he arrived hometo find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the sky. The worst had happened; everything was lost. He was stunned with grief and anger. "God, how could you do this to me!" he cried. Early the next day, however, he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. "How did you know I was here?" asked the weary man of his rescuers. "We saw your smoke signal," they replied. It is easy to get discouraged when things are going bad. But we shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives even in the midst of pain and suffering. "Remember, next time your little hut is burning to the ground -- it just may be a smoke signal that summons the intervention of God !!!".

Follow Your Dreams

Become What You Want to Be

Let me tell you about a little girl who was born into a very poor family in a shack in the Backwoods of Tennessee. She was the 20th of 22 children, prematurely born and frail. Her survival was doubtful. When she was four years old she had double pneumonia and scarlet fever a Deadly combination that left her with a paralyzed and useless left leg. She had to wear an iron leg brace. Yet she was fortunate in having a mother who encouraged her.
Well, this mother told her little girl, who was very bright, that despite the brace and leg, she could do whatever she wanted to do with her life. She told her that all she needed to do was to have faith, persistence, courage and and indomitable spirit. So at nine years of age, the little girl removed the leg brace, and she took the step the doctors told her she would never take normally. In four years, she developed a rhythmic stride, which was a medical wonder. Then this girl got the notion, the incredible notion, that she would like to be the world's greatest woman runner. Now, what could she mean be a runner with a leg like that?
At age 13, she entered a race. She came in last way, way last. She entered every race in high school, and in every race she came in last. Everyone begged her quit! However, one day, she came in next to last.
And then there came a day when she won a race. From then on, Wilma Rudolph won every race that she entered. Wilma went to Tennessee State University, where she met a coach named Ed Temple. Coach Temple saw the indomitable spirit of the girl, that she was a believer and that she had great natural talent. He trained her so well that she went to the Olympic Games.
There she was pitted against the greatest woman runner of the day, a German girl named Jutta Heine. Nobody had ever beaten Jutta. But in the 100 meter dash, Wilma Rudolph won. She beat Jutta again in the 200 meters. Now Wilma had two Olimpic gold medals.
Finally came the 400 meter relay. It would be Wilma against Jutta once again. The first two runners on Wilma's team made perfect hand offs with the baton. But when the third runner handed the baton to Wilma, she was so excited she dropped it, and Wilma saw Jutta taking off down the track.
It was impossible that anybody could catch this fleet and nimble girl. But Wilma did just that!

Wilma Rudolph had earned three Olympic gold medals.
